Winter storm information – posted December 5 at 6 a.m.

Gravenhurst and area schools:

Gravenhurst High School + Adult and Alternate Education Centre (AAEC), Gravenhurst Public School, K.P. Manson Public School, and Muskoka Beechgrove Public School are all open to staff and students today, Thursday, December 5, but transportation will not be running. Child care centres in schools are open.

Parents/guardians who choose to send their children to school are responsible for transportation of their student(s) to and from school. Drop-off and pick-up must occur in alignment with the regular school day start and end times.

All other areas (Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes, City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton, and Huntsville):

Schools are open and transportation is running as usual.

Summer break information

All school buildings will be closed to the public for the summer break beginning Monday, July 7, reopening on Tuesday, August 26.

Beginning the week of July 14, the TLDSB Lindsay Education Centres is open to the public Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Muskoka Education Centre is closed to the public over the break.

The first day of school for both elementary and secondary students is Wednesday, September 3. Note, Kindergarten students will have a staggered start.
