On behalf of the LFPS Parent Council, thank you to all of our families who came out to last Thursday’s Spring Fling! The turnout was fabulous! Food lines were definitely larger than expected and our Parent Council is already rethinking food for next year. “Zoo to You” was a huge hit, with students definitely loving the opportunity to pet their favourite animal (and Ms. Newman spent much of the evening there!). Thank you to the Spring Fling organizing committee of the Parent Council who pulled this event off with little more than a month of preparation time. The organizing committee put many, many hours into making this event a success. The goal of a low cost, fun evening for our school’s families to get together was certainly achieved.
Based on the success of this year’s Spring Fling, the Parent Council is looking forward to an even larger event next year.
