A huge thank you to the LFPS’ Parent Council and its extremely successful (and tasty) Pancake Breakfast last Friday, December 15! Parent Council members and other volunteers were in early to start cooking pancakes (there were A LOT of griddles happening in the staff room) and they kept a steady stream of pancakes coming for the next 2 hours. All students received their pancakes in the 1st Block which is an impressive accomplishment. As always, thank you for your efforts and in helping to give our students a great start as we headed into the final week before the holidays. Our Parent Council was nice enough to give Ms. Chapman and me pancakes; I have to say – jam on a pancake IS something I will do again. I have always been a traditionalist when it comes to pancakes (just butter and syrup) but the jam was good!
