Dear TLDSB Grade 4-12 parents/guardians,
As you may recall, in May 2022, Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) launched a School Climate Survey to students, parents/guardians, and staff. The data gathered from this survey has assisted TLDSB and our schools to gain a deeper understanding and knowledge about their school climate, in order to provide further support to students and our school communities.
As we continue to gather data on student well-being and focus on improving these learning environments that foster equity, inclusion, and belonging, TLDSB is conducting the School Climate Survey for Grade 4-12 students again this year during the week of May 1 to 5. This survey will be completed in class.
Participation will help our schools gain a deeper understanding of how students experience school supports, social and emotional learning, as well as their feelings on a safe and inclusive environment.
