The purpose of this post is to let our parents and guardians know that any changes to pick-up plans for students should be directly communicated to the office by the parent and guardian. This includes changes to who might be picking up a student at the day’s end, changes between riding the bus and walking, or if the student is being picked up early.
It has become common for parents and guardians to communicate this information to their child’s teaching staff (often towards the very end of the day) and to not contact the office to provide the same information. The office has run into situations where we do not know where a student is supposed to be going and it becomes difficult (especially at the day’s end when it is extremely busy) to determine what information is correct.
Please communicate this information to our school’s office through a phone call. You are welcome to also communicate this information to your child’s homeroom staff (but be sure to first contact the office).
