Carnaval is tentatively planned for this Thursday, March 2. Cross your fingers for continuing cool weather and hopefully some more snow! The day is, of course, weather dependent.
Anticipating that it will happen a few things to consider are:
– you will want to dress your child in layers so that depending on the weather they can remove a layer or add a layer if necessary,
– please send extra clothing; depending on the weather and type of snow it is entirely possible that clothes are going to get soaked over the course of the day,
– be sure to pack a full lunch with snacks, along with lots to drink as the goal is for students to be as active outside for as much of the day as possible, and
– a good night’s sleep never hurts; as mentioned above, students will be “on the go” for most of the day!
Again, thank you to Mme. Kherraji for all of her organizing efforts in setting up Carnaval! Thanks to the other staff on the organizing committee for their time and effort , and finally, thank you to the many volunteers who are able to help make this a successful day for all of our students!
