The Winter Holiday for students begins this Friday, December 23 (the last day of school for students is Thursday, December 22). School resumes on Monday, January 9, 2023. To be honest, it seems a bit hard to believe that I am typing the year “2023!” It seems like only yesterday that I remember stories in the news about the year 2000 and how everything technological was going to crash.
I hope everyone has some extra time for friends and family, along with some additional “down time.” We will all hopefully be recharged and refreshed as we return to school in the new year. The September to beginning of winter holidays often seems like the longest stretch of the school year. The January to March Break stretch seems to go much quicker and then the March Break to end of year seems to absolutely fly by!
