The purpose of this email is to provide information from the HKRP to our parents and guardians about the need to have immunizations up to date. TLDSB schools received information regarding the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit’s immunization program regarding student immunizations. Students missing immunizations will receive communication from the HKPR Health Unit; the specific focus is regarding students born in 2014, 2008, 2007 and 2006. Communication to parents is expected to go out near the beginning of January 2023.
Please note that I am attaching an information flyer provided by the HKPR Health Unit; however, the TLDSB does not manage immunizations; any questions regarding the immunization program should be directed to the HKPR Health Unit at 1-866-888-4577 ext 1507. Sending out information early, I figured, would help those families who might have questions or who believe that their child meets this criteria.
