LFPS’ Holiday Hamper Program

Our LFPS Parent Council is again running its Holiday Hamper program to support three families in our community for the holiday season.  Our school supported 2 families last year; however, given the level of donations we should be able to support 3 families this year.

You will find attached to this email a letter containing more specific information about the Holiday Hamper program.  We would like to put together three Holiday Hampers which contain food, clothing, toys and other items.

LFPS Letterhead Holiday Hampers 2022-2023 (2)

How to donate?  Food, toys and clothing items can be sent in with your child, given to the homeroom teacher and they will be brought to the office.  Physical cash donations or gift cards can be sent in with your child too; however, if you would prefer to drop off to an office staff member, you can simply knock on the office window and an office staff member can get this from you.  If you are concerned with any donation not making it to the school (many of our LFPS students are young, after all), you can always drop it off directly to an office staff member by knocking on our office window during regular school hours.

The letter contains information on how to donate online through SchoolCash if you wish.  SchoolCash for LFPS can be accessed by clicking here or pasting the link below into your browser.

This is a truly voluntary activity.  Please only donate if you are able to do so.  Even small donations of almost any item will help with our goal.  Single food items and small cash donations will add up quickly in a school as large as ours.  The Parent Council would like all donations into the school by Wednesday, December 14.
