The LFPS Parent Council is excited to announce the return of one of our school’s traditions: the Holiday 25 Cent Sale! Members of the Parent Council are already hard at work organizing this event which is only a little over a month away. On Monday, December 19, our students will be able to shop for their immediate family members for only 25 cents per item. All proceeds will go towards supporting our Holiday Hamper program.
However, we need your help as the success of the Holiday 25 Cent Sale depends on the generosity of our families and your donations. This is a great time to clean out those closets and toy boxes. It is also a great way to teach our students about the importance of donating to help others and recycling old items that will soon become a cherished gift for other children to give!
We are thankful for any and all donations but we are often in need of:
- gifts suitable for fathers and older brothers
You may send or bring donations any time now! Tables will be set up inside the school for donations. If you are interested in helping out with the 25 Cent Sale on Monday, December 19 or with the setup on Friday, December 16, please contact our office at 705-324-5602. Volunteers do require an up to date criminal reference check and vulnerable sector check on file at the school. If you do not have one on file, please contact Ms. White or Ms. Clarke in the office, and they can provide instructions on how to obtain one.
