Tomorrow (Tuesday, October 18) is Early Childhood Educator and Child Care Worker Appreciation Day. Leslie Frost has 5 Early Childhood Educators: Ms. Fraser, Ms. Harvey, Ms. Hawkins, Ms. Reese and Ms. Singleton. Each of our JK/SK and SK/1 classrooms has an ECE. These are the individuals who you most often see at the main walkers’ gate in the morning, meeting and walking JK and SK students to our Kindergarten fenced area and who get their classes’ JK and SK students to families at the day’s end. ECEs are important, valued and skilled members of your child’s classroom who, along with the classroom teacher, help them develop and reach their full potential. Always ready with a caring approach and great patience, our school’s ECEs help to make your child’s earliest school experiences a great one. If you see any of our ECEs tomorrow, please be sure to take a moment to thank them for all that they do! One can tell the impact our ECEs have when our school’s oldest students so often give them a smile and say “hello” as they enter through the gate and pass them each morning.
