Trading Cards – Please Do Not Bring To School

I would ask that students do not bring Pokemon and hockey cards (and other trading-type cards) to school.

Having been around for a while (it is Mr. Parish writing, so actually having been around for a LONG time!), students bringing these types of cards to school inevitably results in:

• trading cards with other students and, getting upset about the trade that was made and then asking staff members to get the cards back and
• losing or having cards stolen and getting upset.  Some students bring binders and containers full of trading cards – which represents a great deal of money.

If trading cards are brought to school, staff members will ask that they be put away and taken home.
