Our Leslie Frost Lions demonstrated superb sportsmanship at the Zone Soccer tournaments yesterday. Under the expert leadership of our coaches - Mme Waterhouse, Mrs. Clarke, Mlle Sharpen, Mr. Perras - our teams excelled.
Congratulations to our Junior Mixed Soccer Team for their phenomenal playing and sportsmanship. Every player was a real trooper in very chilly weather. They won the first 2 games, tied the 3rd, and then won the shoot-out. They will be playing at the County Tournament next Wednesday, October 27th at Woodville. Their next practice is on Monday, October 25th at 11:00 a.m.
The Senior Girls' soccer team also played exceptionally hard yesterday. They improved through hard work in the practice sessions and should be very proud of their accomplishments.
Congratulations to the Senior Boys' soccer team who played strong as well. They demonstrated great team spirit and gave the tournament the most exciting game of the day. Mlle Sharpten would like to acknowledge the goal scorers: Caleb Kim and James Lapointe as well as the outstanding goal saver, Yannick Leclerc. Thank, boys, for a great season!
