Congratulations to the Junior Basketball Team on their amazing performance at the Zone Tournament yesterday.
All players worked hard and played hard! We won our first 2 games against Grandview P.S. and Dr. George Hall P.S., which guaranteed our spot in the County Finals.
In our last game, we were up against the Mariposa E.S.'s Monarchs. The Monarchs took an early lead in the first half, but their height advantage was not match to our tenacious defense! Noteworthy defensive machines include Alexandra and Liam who refused to let their opponents score!
After a nail-biting second half, the Leslie Frost Lions came out on top defeating Mariposa 12 to 11! Way to go, Champs!
Our team will be travelling to LCVI for the County Finals next Thursday. Wish them luck!
