May 2, 2011 - Leslie Frost observed Earth Day on Thursday, April 28th. We watched a video about how Earth Day started and why celebrating it helps create awareness about environmental issues and our responsibilities towards the planet. Students helped clean up our school yard, the park, and along nearby streets. Gloves and bags were provided by the City of Kawartha Lakes. A huge thank you to all who pitched in!
