Once again, Leslie Frost students have shown great interest and commitment in Cross Country running. Every week, about 75 students are running daily at the school. On Wednesday after school, approximately 50 students have practiced running on the trails at the Ken Reid conservation park as part of their training.
We would like to express a HUGE thank you to all parents, staff members and alumni students who have run and/or have helped with the students. Your contribution helps make this extra-curricular activity a great success and it is a wonderful inspiration for the students in our community! The try outs will happen during the last week of September after which, the final team will be chosen. By the end of the week, we will notify the runners who will participate in the running event at the board level, on October 6 (rain date Oct.7). We would like to remind all our runners that we still have one outing at Ken Reid, on September 29th. Looking forward to seeing you there!
