Dec. 22, 2010 - Excitement filled the Leslie Frost P.S. gymnasium today as students selected gifts for the special people in their lives. Each year, our school hosts the 25¢ sale, where students can buy Christmas gifts for their loved ones. It was started as a way for children to be able to buy gifts for their parents and families. The treasures include gently used donations from families in the school. Each class gets to come in and do their Christmas shopping. Once they made their purchases, they went to our grade 7 and 8 classes where the intermediate students helped them wrap their gifts. They were very excited to participate. That was evident by the smiles around the room as the children purchased their gifts and showed their purchases to their friends.
